How All-On-4 Works

This procedure involves extracting remaining teeth, strategically placing 4-6 implants per arch at specific angles to avoid sinuses, and attaching a low-profile bridge. Our enhanced approach, customized for each patient, often eliminates the need for bone grafts. Temporary fixed bridges are placed while implants integrate, followed by permanent zirconia bridges for superior strength, aesthetics, and longevity.

All-On-4 Procedure Timeline

The procedure typically takes 4-6 hours, depending on whether you're receiving treatment for a single arch (upper or lower) or both arches (full mouth). When you leave our office, your temporary bridge(s) will be securely attached to your new implants. You will wear your temporary bridge(s) for about 4 months to allow your implants to integrate with your bone, giving your jaws and gums time to heal into a stable, long-term position before we create your final bridge(s). This healing period ensures the best possible fit for your permanent bridges. After this time, we will begin crafting your final bridge(s), which will require a few appointments over the course of 5-6 weeks. During this time, you'll work with us to design the smile you’ve always wanted for your permanent teeth.
1

Mouth Impressions

The lab uses these materials to create your temporary implant bridge(s). If you're missing all or most of the teeth in the arch being treated, our doctors may recommend a wax try-in. This is a mock-up of your temporary implant bridge, which will be used to assess the bite position, aesthetics, and overall fit. This step helps ensure that your temporary bridge is both comfortable and visually pleasing before the final bridge is fabricated.
